Hairdressing Foundations is an 8-day (38-hour) hands-on intensive at Makiev International Hair Academy, a private hairdressing school in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Makiev International Hair Academy offers stand-alone skill-building intensives and workshops for personal enrichment and technique development. These programs are not approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) and do not lead to a career training credential, diploma, or license to practice hairdressing in British Columbia.
A Certificate of Attendance is issued upon completion to confirm your participation and demonstrated skills. This certificate is not equivalent to a PTIRU-approved credential.
Refund Policy
- 14+ days before start: Full refund minus $50 CAD administrative fee
- 7–13 days before start: 50% refund
- Less than 7 days: No refund; one transfer to a future date permitted
Any intensive or workshop with fewer than 3 enrolled students may be cancelled. Full refund issued in this case.
